Challenge yourself to even better popcorn: Get yourself some regular popcorn & a pot with a tight-fitting lid. Put your pot on the stove, turn it on about medium high, & let the pot get good and heated up. Put in a couple of tablespoons of coconut oil & let those heat up. You’ll know when it’s ready when a few kernels of popcorn thrown in the pot pop right away. Now, cover the bottom of the pot with popcorn & put the lid on. Occasionally give the pot a shake without taking off the lid. When the popping slows way down, turn the stove off. Wait a minute or two, take the lid off. Add melted butter & whatever seasoning makes you happy (we use salt & garlic pepper). YUM!!

Yah I love garlic pepper on popcorn too. :) Homemade popcorn is certainly better than microwave since those dastardly microwaves aren’t too good for you, but treating yourself to the convenience of some organic microwave popcorn is second best to popping your own.

Garlic pepper is just about our favorite seasoning, period. Happy popcorn, happy steak, happy eggs–it’s a great place to start seasoning. And, yes, my toddler & my preschooler eat it right up.
